INTRODUCING MINNESOTA’S BEST 2022

As Minnesota’s #1 local choice for news, information and advertising, the Star Tribune advertising and marketing team is proud to launch Minnesota’s Best. The program will recognize the best Minnesota businesses from over 390 categories, including professional services, restaurants, and cultural institutions.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Any local business from one of these categories can be nominated by owners, managers, customers, or fans. Nominated businesses are vetted, verifying that they provide the service for which they are nominated and that they serve Minnesota.

Once verified, nominees are placed on Minnesota’s Best ballot. Voters will use it to decide the winners. Voting will be online and span 24 days. The public is encouraged to vote once each day during the voting period.

Winners will be announced on the Minnesota’s Best website and in our all-new Minnesota's Best Magazine — the ultimate guide to all that is best in Minnesota. The Minnesota Best Magazine will be distributed to metro Sunday Star Tribune Home Delivery customers, Newsstands, and other select distribution outlets.

There is no cost for businesses to participate in the contest.

For more than 150 years, Star Tribune’s mission has been to cover what matters most to Minnesotans. We have been the trusted forum for Minnesota’s most important conversations. Whether Minnesota is confronting an injustice, holding our leaders accountable, or chronicling the state we love, it is a good bet the conversation was started by one of our 240 journalists.

As a result of this work, Star Tribune has become Minnesota’s largest media company. In addition to offering a range of advertising and agency services, our media platforms reach more Minnesotans than those of any other local media company.

Through our Advantage digital platform, we reach another 15MM unique visitors through email, on other websites, on social media, through search, and on streaming video.

We connect with nearly 2 million people with our printed products each week. On its own, our Sunday newspaper reaches over 800k readers each week – it’s the 5th largest Sunday circulation in the United States.
